Quintus / AIC apps are discontinued by Avaya

In 2005 Avaya has officially announced it will discontinue all Avaya Interaction Center Business Applications products, formally known as CCQ, CallCenterQ, CustomerQ, HelpQ and HRQ. The current Interaction Center 7.1 version does no longer include these applications.

Customers who are still using CustomerqQ/ HelpQ or CCQ are faced with numerous problems:

  • functionality freeze as no new features will be added

  • legacy architecture model is no longer compliant with the IT strategie of most contact centers' web architecture, J2EE platform and SOA initiatives

  • no or only very restricted support (no bug fixes, patches, security updates etc.) as of June, 2006

  • newer version of MS Windows or UNIX operation systems are not supported

AIC customers are adviced by Avaya to migration their AIC application.
