DaimlerChrysler AG developed a new jACOB Web-Application to provide quality assurance when implementing production lines for new models of cars. The users can be anywhere in the world and through this application they exchange their know how and problems related to the installation of new production lines.

Into the new decade

2009 was a good year for jACOB. We added a substantial number of new users amongst them car manufacturer AUDI and chip machine maker ASML. At ASML we were able to migrate their Avaya Q applications within a period of approximately 90 days, retaining all functionality and - essential to their users - maintaining the same look and feel. Other new customer’s that joined us during this year were HECC an international call centre in The Netherlands and KVWL (Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Westfahlen-Lippe) in Germany. A host of new independent supporters developers also found their way to jACOB. One of the most ardent among them is Hubertus Hiden in Austria who developed a number of applications for Lab management and provided us with some welcome ideas for product improvement.

During the year we continued to add a constant stream of new functionality and improvements to the product making jACOB one of the most rapid, versatile and efficient web based development tools currently on the market.

During the coming months we shall continue to further improve and add more to the product thereby making it even more efficient and easy to use. Watch this site in the coming months for new announcements
